October 9, 2025
Halloween is upon us! We will be celebrating with an outdoor parade on Friday, October 31, 2025. In an effort to help families plan for the Halloween fun, please read through the information outlined below.

Costume Reminders

– Students should bring their costume to school and will have time to change after lunch. Please ensure costumes can be put on over a student’s regular clothes, or added on to the outfit they wear to school.

– All costumes must be school appropriate. The expectations for everyday dress are applied to costumes.

– No look-a-like weapons of any kind are allowed as part of a costume.

– Please avoid gore, blood, or “scary” costumes.

Halloween Parade at 1:15pm

On October 31st, we invite families to view the parade live and in person, which will follow a path around the perimeter of Armstrong. As we have done in the past, you can view the parade route on any side of the school. The parade will begin at the front doors and we will walk south along the sidewalk, around the building, and then finish through the front doors. If it rains, the parade will be indoors and parents are invited to view the parade in the gym.

We will be having some fun in our classrooms on Halloween as well. Please do not send in any edible treats with your child or for students to take home. Any food items sent to school will be returned with your child. Thank you for helping to ensure our students’ safety.
