Mark your calendars to come watch our Annual Halloween Parade! the parade will take place on Friday, October 30, 2026 at 1:15pm at Armstrong School. Parents are invited to view the parade around the perimeter of Armstrong school. The front of the school will be the most crowded area, so we recommend spreading out around the school. The parade will exit through the front doors, and walk around all four sides of the school.
On October 30, 2026, the morning will be a regular schedule. There will be time after lunch for students to change into costumes, but they are completely optional. In choosing a costume, keep in mind District 54 School Board’s policy which prohibits weapons or look-alike weapons at school. In choosing an appropriate costume for your child to wear at school, please adhere to the following guidelines:
No fake blood, gore, scary costumes or costumes depicting violence
No weapons or “look-alikes” of any kind (squirt guns, chains, whips, plastic swords, etc.)
Ensure that costumes are appropriate and inoffensive to all ages at our school
Be certain that your child can see through any mask or head covering
We look forward to a fun celebration on October 30, 2026!
